I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and I have more than 11 years’ experience in clinically working in academic, forensic, NHS and private settings, both in the UK and overseas. The clients I have been working with are adults and young adults.
Currently, alongside my private practice I work in the NHS in a secondary care service (CMHRS), where I provide psychological intervention for people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
I have experience in assessing and treating disorders on a wide spectrum of complexity, including difficulties related to anxiety disorders (phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, social phobia, panic disorder), depression, anger problems, adjustment disorders, body image difficulties, loss and bereavement, personality disorder.
I have experience and skills in working with people that are struggling with engaging in therapy, that have low motivation to work in therapy or have been through many forms of therapy that have not worked for them in the past.
I have a special interest in working with people with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), social phobia and anger problems, both in individual and group format.
In addition to my clinical experience, I also have experience in supervising, teaching and training qualified and trainee therapists from NHS, and other healthcare professionals.
