I am an experienced BPS registered Chartered Psychologist, HCPC Registered Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologist, and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have many years’ experience assessing and treating different client groups with psychological difficulties, in the NHS and Non-profit organisations, both in the UK and overseas. I have a strong interest in research and therapeutic outcomes. I remain involved in research (i.e. leadership, development and training), and have undertaken funded research leading to peer reviewed publications. I provide an evidence-based psychological treatment hence I use the most effective psychological interventions based upon the best scientific evidence available.
When working with clients I tend to be quite practical in my approach, often taking the work I do outside of the therapy room where we can make changes using the behavioural experiments.

In my spare time I like to go horse riding. Travelling is also an important part of my life. In the evenings, as a former theatre performer, I love to go to see a good musical.
