My name is Sue Couzens and I am a qualified BACP counsellor offering non-judgemental Person Centred therapy in a safe and confidential space in which to explore your feelings. My aim is to help you to express and understand your feelings and find a way forward that will help you overcome stresses and difficulties in your life. I am passionate about helping people suffering from depression and mental health issues and work together with you to find ways of coping and improving your well-being.
I have worked in a number of agencies and counselling settings, including Next Steps Depression Group, Sandhurst Counselling Services, Age UK, Fountain Centre and Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care. I have worked with a wide range of issues including:
Depression, Anxiety, Low self-esteem, stress, work issues, relationship difficulties, emotional abuse, loss and bereavement and drug and alcohol issues.
I am a humanistic counsellor and draw on a number of methods including, Person Centred, Gestalt, Existential, Transactional Analysis and some CBT. This allows me to tailor therapy individually for each client.
